What is SRN Partner Connect?
Partner Connect creates partnerships between SRN and local organizations that need transportation so older adults can access their important programs and services. SRN is not able to subsidize these rides but will provide them to the partner at cost. You can expect pricing to be similar to rideshare or taxi services with an additional level of care and reliability from an organization committed to providing excellent transportation to older adults.
Partner Connect is in the pilot phase and is not currently enrolling new partners. While some program details may change as testing continues, this page provides a program overview. If your organization is interested, please review the details and complete the interest form below. We will reach out as we are able to enroll new partners.
Program Details
SRN and the partner will have an MOU before Partner Connect services begin.
SRN will use paid drivers to provide Partner Connect transportation. This ensures reliability and consistency.
The partner will pay SRN directly for the services rendered.
In order to maintain consistency and a high level of care, SRN adequately pays our drivers with an hourly rate and mileage reimbursement. Trip costs will be based on the distance and time commitment for SRN drivers.
SRN’s relationship will be to the partner.
The partner will need to identify the riders. SRN has a few requirements to maintain our mission and ensure we can provide rides safely:
Riders should be older adults (partner can determine the age).
Riders must have the ability to safely transfer in and out of a vehicle with limited assistance and cognitive capacity to safely use our program. Riders must also be able walk/get to the vehicle and the entrance of their destination with limited assistance.
Riders who need additional support can travel with a caregiver. All caregivers must sign a waiver and must be travelling with the rider for the duration of the ride.
The partner will also be responsible for getting the rider’s transportation schedule and communicating it to SRN. This minimizes SRN’s administrative burden for the partnership, allowing us to provide the service as affordably as possible.
If the partner requires payment from their rider, the rider will pay the partner, not SRN.
